C2205 on Jeep
Steering angle sensor internal fault (Jeep, Chrysler)
Severity: Inspect soon
The steering angle sensor feeds stability and traction control, and the Wrangler bulletin also lists airbag and cruise control codes from the same part. A Wrangler owner reported near-stalling and a Pacifica owner a steering angle fault, so have it checked.
It gets more serious if:
- Stop: Stop in a safe place and call for service if the airbag light, red brake light or a steering warning comes on, or the steering feels different. Toyota's owner's manual, used as a general benchmark, treats a red brake light as a stop condition.
