P129F on GMC
On GM vehicles, the fuel pump power control module reports that the fuel pump speed signal is incorrect
Severity: Inspect soon
The module that runs the fuel pump has a fault. GM lists crank/no-start, stalling and loss of power with this code, so the car may leave you stranded. Get it inspected soon.
It gets more serious if:
- Stop: Stop driving and have it towed if the engine stalls, cuts out or loses power while moving. GM's bulletins list stalling and loss of power with this code, and a sudden loss of drive power in traffic increases the risk of a crash.
